Sea Kayak Vancouver Island British Columbia

Welcome to Gabriola Sea Kayaking! Paddling offers an intimate way to explore Vancouver Island’s marine environment, rugged coastline, fjords and white sandy beaches. Our goal is to provide you with safe and fun guided multi-day sea kayaking adventures in world class paddling destinations. No experience is necessary.

Our trips offer a wide range of paddling experiences from exploring enclosed and protected bays to the rugged open Pacific Ocean. Wildlife is abundant and hidden coves and stretches of beach make for ideal camping against a backdrop of temperate rainforest and snow capped mountains of Vancouver Island and Mainland British Columbia.

For 2008 we will be offering trips to the Broken Group Islands, Nootka Island, Clayoquot Sound New! and a Lodge based trip in the Broughton Archipelago from the Paddlers Inn New!

Our guides are outdoor professionals and have spent many seasons exploring the wilderness. We have been leading kayak adventures since 1995.

Hope to paddle with you this season!

Johnstone Strait

Hearing the blow of a Killer Whale (Orca) and watching a dorsal fin slide back into the water from the seat of a kayak is an exhilerating experience. Johnstone Strait is home to the highest concentration of Killer Whales in the world and we are pleased to be offering this west coast classic for 2008. This trip was designed with wildlife viewing in mind and will appeal to anybody looking for a pleasant balance between kayaking, wildlife viewing and beach life..
