Welcome to Gabriola Sea Kayaking!

Explore Vancouver Island’s rich marine environment, wildlfe, rugged coastline, fjords and white sandy beaches. We provide you with unforgettable  guided multi-day sea kayaking adventures in world class paddling destinations with experienced professional guides in a laid back and fun atmosphere.

Gabriola Sea Kayaking has evolved from Gabriola Cycle and Kayak. In 2007, we  took over the Vancouver Island Paddling portion of the company. Our trips are run in the same spirit of fun, community and participation.  No experience is necessary, just a good sense of fun and adventure. We have been leading tours since 1995.

Our tours offer a wide range of paddling experiences from  enclosed and protected bays to the rugged open Pacific Ocean. Wildlife is abundant and hidden coves and stretches of beach make for ideal camping against a backdrop of temperate rainforest and snow capped mountains of Vancouver Island and Mainland British Columbia.

Hope to Paddle with you this season!

Matt & Jen

 Kyuquot Sound

Kyuquot Sound is our most remote and rugged paddling tour. Traditional territory to the Kyuquot people, this cultural landscape provides a gateway to some of the finest sea kayaking Vancouver Island has to offer.
